Nokia - MWC Press Launch of New CEO’s strategic plan. February 2011

Nokia have been in the press a great deal as they have struggled to define how they were going to compete with the likes of Apple and Google’s Android platform. Mobile World Congress was an opportunity for the new CEO of Nokia to present his vision to the press.

The challenge was to create a press event for the new CEO of Nokia to engage with the press and outline his vision for the future of Nokia in just 10days. Set in the dramatic Casa Llotja de Mar, with a host of restrictions owing to it being a protected building, In contrast to previous years we created a 360˚ stage to allow the audience to surround the CEO and get closer to him. Rather than the usual empty space we created a hanging mobile above the stage which reacted to the air currents within the room. No 2 pictures taken would be the same.
